The
latest collection of poems by Allan Serafino explores the nature of change
and the search for possibilities. The book is structured in three sections
with dark images of occupation of mind and values in the opening,
giving way to a lighter, hopeful quest at the close. In the middle section,
the poet uses the metaphor of changing perpectives to find a more meaningful
approach to life. Allan Serafino exhibits a masterful maturity of subject
and style in this excellent new volume.
