Celtic
Highway
is a memory book a poetic journey in search of roots, over landscapes
from Hawaii and China, to the Yorkshire moors and B.C.s rugged coastline.
Harmonizing his ancestral Irish heritage with an interest in Asias
Taoist-Buddhist traditions, Trevor Carolans poems celebrate family
love, travel, the experience of fatherhood, work, and the poets
spiritual engagement with life at the edge of the West Coast rainforest.
Trevor Carolan is
the author of a travel novel, The Pillow Book of Dr. Jazz and
Giving Up Poetry: With Allen Ginsberg At Hollyhock, a memoir of his
acquaintance with the beloved late poet. He is a frequent contributor
to The Bloomsbury Review and Shambhala Sun magazine. He
is married with two children and lives in North Vancouver.
