I Hate Wives! is a short collection of terse verse and aphorisms on sexual politics, in the slightly slanted voice of the incorrigible Nellie McClung. Grand-daughter of the renowned Canadian writer and suffragette of the same name, Nellie is the author of several books of poetry including My Sex is Ice Cream and Salt Whistle Bay (both from Ekstasis Editions).

Poet Nellie McClung shares the same name as her famous suffragette grandmother. She lives in Vancouver, BC and takes her inspiration from the mountains and the sea.
